Summer Dinner Party
Nothing better than a nice summer celebration. It's well known that Londoners are obsessed with the weather, and who wouldn't be if we survived a very long winter and after a very dark period finally here comes the sunshine and the lovely nice weather.
The good weather doesn't come alone, it comes with lots of bathing, sun in the park, colourful clothing, lunches with friends, bright seasonal flowers, and definitely summer dinner parties.
And nothing better than enjoying the pleasant temperatures with friends at a nice intimate party, which is why we would love to give you some tips to make that occasion very special.
Good lighting
One of the best ways to spend summer nights is to enjoy them outdoors. During dinners for two that are romantic and full of magic or having fun gatherings with friends. And for everything to go perfectly, nothing like illuminating the garden and the terrace with fairy lights or candles placed at strategic points. You will notice that automatically the atmosphere changes, and it will make all your guests more in the mood.
Summery Flowers
Summer flowers are the essentials to give a more special touch to your summer parties. Put them on the tables and they will give another look to the space, it will be bright and full of life, it will set up the mood. I highly recommend you use bright colours, fluor and vibrant.
Appart of the colours and using different shapes and textures the most important part is to pick heat resistant flowers like coral peonies that announce the start of summer, lisianthus, gerbers (there is a big variety of tones and types), chrysants, sunflowers, limonium, and strong blooms like our favourites cymbidium and of course our favs, anthuriums.
Our favourite designs this Summer are Allegra, La Dolce Vita, Jeanette, Colleen, Spice girl and Berlin. I'm sure those bouquets will give a super special touch to your party. Another idea could be a bespoke BIMBA summer floral centrepiece.
Tablecloths
there is a large variety of types, however,I highly recommend you using a nice white tablecloth, it will give light to the table, and a the essence of clean, however you must take in consideration the colour and type of the crockery, using a contrasting colour or the perfect match (another good tip is using large lovely fabrics as a table clothes, with summery prints to achieve a very bold look.

Last, but not least, what will make your summer parties something very special will be your unique and personal touch, the delicious dinner or aperitivo, the type of flowers you choose and all the beautiful details, time flies and summer with this pleasant temperatures sadly don't last forever, so be creative and live the midsummer night dream.
